I started making fauxstage stamps (aka cinderellas, faux postage, artistamps) exclusively by letterpress printing. Then I decided to make way more stamps (and more complex stamps) than I could ever make via letterpress. Down the yellow brick road I went to digital land.
Unless noted otherwise in the image caption as being letterpress printed, these stamps share design and construction materials and techniques. They were designed in Adobe Illustrator and printed on a HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M283fdw on Tromark dry gummed paper (24# Systix gum on 60# Offset). Standard, straight-line perforations were added using a ca. 1900 Rosback treadle-operated pin perforator. Free-form perforating was done with an Epilog Laser CO2 laser.
Some issues fit in multiple categories and thus may appear more than once.
