After I purchased my first (somewhat neglected) Inverto 18 staking tool I went hunting around the net for information about these tools. Good quality tools that have been neglected really annoy me, so I decided to do what I could to bring the tool back to original condition.
To my dismay, there was precious little out there to help guide my restoration efforts. I started looking elsewhere for information (libraries, catalogs, etc.) Little did I know that this would be the start of a year long effort to find out what these tools were all about. As I began to accumulate information, I realized that there were others out there in net land who might be interested in it. Thus was born kanddinverto.weebly.com. |
There is a lot of information on the site and creating the web-compatible forms of everything I found was a great excuse to learn about scanning, OCR, Photoshop, and other tools.
Hopefully now that the site exists, no one will find themselves in the same boat I did upon buying a well-loved K&D staking tool set.
